JOPLIN - If you know of people in Joplin attempting to get assistance, tell them to call 2-1-1 or go to the 2-1-1 website. A Facebook page has also been set up to coordinate volunteer recovery efforts. The Missouri State Highway Patrol is asking all first responders to report to the command post at 34th Street and Main Street in Joplin. Missouri Task Force 1 has been deployed to aid in search and rescue.
